Lenses

There are two types of lenses; convex and concave lenses.

Concave lenses are thinner at the center and thicker at the edges. They are able to bend light rays away from each other to form a larger image than the object and in same order.

Convex lenses
are thicker at the center and thinner at the edges. They are able to bend light rays towards each other so that they meet at a focus. The image formed by a convex lens is inverted and smaller than the object.
